tapping into you 2.0
your next version, incrementally
If you want to do something drastically different* in your life or career, you don’t have to change who you are completely to start.
*drastically different doesn’t have to mean uprooting everything you’ve worked for. It’s making the conscious choice to change direction or make a different choice. Small can bring drastically different results, too.
Who you are at the base is perfect for who you’re becoming. You have to truly believe you’re capable of reaching the level you’re aiming for while getting out of your own way.
Your body and mind are like a car that has a lot of potential. A stock car gets you where you need to go, it’s hopefully safe, and can even be a bit of fun.
IE, my 911 (Shakira) feels great to drive, can cut some mean canyons, and has decent power. She has a good base.
But there is a lot of untapped potential in a stock car like a 911.
Have your car tuned in just the right way — even a little bit? Throw some better tires on? Tweak the suspension? Suddenly your car feels radically different and enables new experiences.
You’re squeaking out more power. You can hit the track with grip and control. You’re more “go” and not just “show” (or “slow”).
This is you.
This is me.
We’re all full of untapped potential and a base to work with.
A small tweak or change can drastically change your experience, capabilities, and alter your path.
You just may not be able to see it yet.
What’s one choice you can make today for future you, to tune into your untapped potential?
